There will be two trainings offered, Basic CP Training and Short Locating Training, at Lexington Utilities (425 Carolina Ave, Lexington, NC, 27292) across the street in the HR Room. 

Basics CP Training, Class I

The cost for training is $160 and space is limited to 30.

Day One: Tuesday, January 10, 2023 (1-5 pm)

• Basic Electricity Rules
• CP Theory
• CP Equipment

Day Two: Wednesday, January 11 (8 am - 12 pm)

• Rectifiers
• Basic field inspections/procedures
• Field Visits

Lunch will be provided by Balon Valves on January 11.

Short Locating, Class II

Cost is $160 and space is limited to 20.

Day One: Wednesday, January 11 (12 pm - 5 pm)

• Basic review
• Theory
• Methods

Day Two: Thursday, January 12 (8 am - 12 pm)

• Short locating equipment - Bring your tools and review (show & tell)
• Field Short Locating

CPGA Operators Meeting

Wednesday, January 11 from 10 am - 12 pm

Lunch will be provided by Balon Values. There is no cost for lunch or the Operators Meeting but please register to help us plan.
